Your choice remains yours.
Every invitation to speak, draw, write, move or attend to bodily experience is optional. You may ask questions, pause, decline an invitation, withdraw consent or end the work. Embodied practices are self-directed and non-contact.
Your own associations and interpretation remain primary. Images are not diagnostic tests, and no particular outcome is promised.
Understand the service.
Individual Transpersonal Art Therapy is intended as a person-centred therapeutic process for adults and will be arranged after an introductory conversation. Therapeutic practice will begin only after the relevant professional foundations, including supervision and insurance, are established.
Standalone Archetypal & Symbolic Inquiry is reflective and experiential. It is not presented as psychotherapy, psychological assessment, diagnosis or medical treatment.
If your needs fall outside the practitioner’s competence or scope, this will be discussed and, where possible, a referral option identified.
Privacy and confidentiality.
Personal information shared for the service will be treated confidentially, subject to legal and safety limitations. These limits, the purpose of practitioner notes and the role of professional supervision will be explained in the private consent information before work begins.
Your artwork and journal remain yours. Photographing, retaining, reproducing, displaying, teaching from or publishing your material requires separate, specific consent. Optional material sent before an inquiry will be deleted afterwards unless you separately ask or consent for it to be retained as part of your record.
The final privacy policy will explain which service providers are used, storage and security arrangements, any likely overseas handling, retention periods, access and correction rights, and complaint pathways. These arrangements are being finalised.
Consent is a private conversation.
The public website provides information to help you decide whether to enquire. Your completed consent form, contact details, acknowledgements, emergency-contact information and signatures will not be displayed publicly.
When the booking pathway is ready, the relevant consent form will be sent privately after booking. You will have time to read it, ask questions and discuss anything unclear before the service begins.
Your confirmation will also provide access to the Booking Confirmation and Preparation Guide. Online sessions will not be recorded by Soul Metaphors; arrangements for privacy, location and appropriate safety information will be discussed where relevant.
Fees, cancellation and refunds.
The applicable fee, required payment or deposit, and cancellation conditions will be shown before payment. No payment is being accepted for these individual services while bookings remain closed.
The proposed fees are: a complimentary 15-minute introductory conversation; $160 for a 60-minute inquiry; $190 for a 90-minute inquiry; and $440 for the privately arranged three-session therapy series.
Draft cancellation conditions provide for rescheduling without a cancellation charge with at least 48 hours’ notice; retention of up to 50% between 24 and 48 hours; and ordinarily no refund with less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance. Exceptional circumstances may be considered.
If you end a three-session series early, completed sessions are recalculated at $190 each. Indicative refunds are $250 after one completed session and $60 after two. Any permitted processing deduction must be genuinely non-refundable, lawful and clearly disclosed before payment.
If the practitioner cancels, you may reschedule or receive a full refund for the cancelled appointment or unused sessions. Unused sessions are also refundable without an administrative deduction if the practitioner recommends discontinuing work as unsuitable or outside scope. Final terms will be provided before bookings open. Your statutory rights remain protected.
Questions and privacy concerns.

The final policy will include relevant external complaint pathways, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and South Australia’s Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner.
